Today is New Year’s Day and we wish Tisara Villas all the best for their start-up and new existence. It was wonderful to spend a few days in the tranquility of the tropical garden, to indulge on delicious food and dip into the blue pool. A perfect environment to relax and calm down from urban stress.

It is a pleasure to write something about the Tisara Villas. The perfect place, as if you are living in a small village by itself. Both of us and my family, especially my two granddaughters enjoyed the pool so much. If ever we were in the villas, they’d be in the pool. The villas were tastefully decorated without too much furniture, most of all we loved the outdoor bathrooms.
We had delicious food cooked by two excellent cooks and their assistants. The room boys always made sure that they put flowers everyday in a beautiful pattern when they made our beds. The whole staff was brilliant including the manager who ran the place. All in all, we enjoyed the two weeks and were sad to leave.

You have a wonderful place here, a low key and laid back place that is a nice haven after busy days at the beaches and Galle. I totally enjoy the village feeling, especially in the mornings when I can experience the village people waking up, going about their chores and sending their children to school.
Most importantly, really sell or advertise your young chef’s talents. He is really good! Especially when he makes Singhalese food.

We had a great time. This is truly an amazing experience. We have travelled to many places but this is a one in a million experience. The villas are big and the personal and courteous attention of the staff was exemplary. Full marks for customer service. The idea of cooking in the kitchen and serving in the dining room is superb. We have been to many hotels in Sri Lanka. However, this is a kind of new experience to stay at such an isolated lodge. I like the design and the interior. All of us liked your food. Your cooks are very nice. Besides, the most remarkable thing is that you have well trained staff, who are kind, friendly, but not too talkative to leave us calm and quiet. We had the most wonderful and relaxing time in this “little heaven” of nature. We enjoyed the spacious villas – especially with 2 kids, the quiet surroundings only “disturbed” by the monkeys and exotic birds … we loved to relax by the pool just a few feet away from our door.

It was a chance to discover the wonders of Sri Lankan food while staying comfortably in our villa. In few words, we really felt at home as soon as we walked in this villa. This is our second time to Sri Lanka. We are from Dubai and just spent the Eid holiday at Tisara Villa. It is an ideal place for families with small children. My daughter, 2 ½ year, loves the garden and the pool. The staff are very friendly with kids. My husband and I love the food here. We will recommend this place to our friends!

We’ve been here for nearly 14 days now and sadly we have to leave today. We’ve had an amazing time here. The location is perfect. Minutes away from the beautiful beaches and a whole host of other amenities. The villas are beautiful, especially the bathrooms. The setting is wonderful as is the pool which was in constant use by our children.
But most of all, it’s the staff, who make this place so great. 2 brilliant cooks, 3 wonderful helpers, gardeners, security and the fantastic manager. Nothing is a problem here and they just do their best to make your stay as perfect as possible. We will definitely be back. We love this place.
